There is no formula how to become a top streamer on LOVOO, but there are a lot of tips from us how to make it to the top.
Stream Quality:
It is important to make sure that the quality of the stream is good so that the viewers can enjoy the stream.
Video:
To ensure the best possible image or video quality, you should use a mobile phone with a good front camera and the highest possible resolution.
Make sure that you are completely visible in the picture. Even if you have someone on the side. And it's best to choose a neutral background so that your viewers can fully concentrate on you.
Audio:
Your viewers not only want to see you, but above all they want to hear you. Therefore it is important that your microphone works properly and that you are easy to understand. It's okay to have soft music in the background, but avoid loud, disturbing noises. If you can't really block these out, for example because you are outdoors, use a headset or headphones with an integrated microphone.
LOVOO-Tip: Before you start your first stream, it is best to record a short video of yourself. That way you can best test if picture and sound work.
Internet:
Bamboo line incl. pixel party? In the long run, it can be quite annoying if your viewers see you blurred all the time or only hear you chopped off. A good internet connection is half the battle!
Chat or comments:
Besides your entertaining personality, the comments in your stream are probably the most important part. And that requires full attention: Who joined the stream? Who has written something or sent a gift? Multitasking is required here!
Say hello to everyone coming into your stream. The first viewers will always be listed explicitly, but you can always check the viewer list later. Especially those who are on the road with LOVOO Live for the first time might be a bit inhibited at first. Your task is to integrate them into your stream in a very charming way and to welcome them.
Talent Manager Tip:
Interviews and analyses have shown that the first streams that users watch have a decisive influence on which streams they watch later. Brand new LOVOO users have exclusive access to a "Hello World" gift which they can send once. If you get one in your stream, please welcome these people especially. Maybe they will soon be a fan, presenter or supporter of yours!
Presents:
With gifts your supporters show you their support. They spend a lot of money every month to push you, so make sure you give them enough attention and thank them appropriately for every gift - no matter how small or large.
In addition, you can send a message to everyone who left you gifts after the stream and say thank you or invite them to your next stream. Such small things can make a big difference!
Favo's:
If viewers have favored you by clicking on the star icon, they will automatically receive a push message the next time you go live. This is a great way to get a bigger audience and more action the next time you stream. This is a great way to keep your viewers following you or have your moderators post regular calls to the chat.
Time:
What is the best time to go live? Our statistics clearly show that most viewers are active in the evening, after work. However, at this time of course most other streamers are also live and there is a lot of competition. It can be worthwhile to stream from time to time far away from "prime time", for example in the morning or afternoon.
How long you should stream for? We recommend to be live for at least one hour, because not all of your fans can watch right from the first minute. In general, the longer you stream, the better. However, you should also provide entertaining content so that your viewers don't get bored.
Talent Manager Tip:
Create a schedule for your streams and go live at the same time. This way your community can memorize your streams.
Role model function:
Your community, your rules. But of course LOVOO has its own clear guidelines. We expect you to set a good example and to take a clear position in your streams and to transfer this to your community. No hate, no beef - clarify private matters away from the camera and instead make sure that your viewers are entertained and feel comfortable.
Social media:
Social media, especially Instagram, can be a good tool to increase your reach and awareness:
☛ Inform your followers when you will go live next time.
☛ Share screenshots and recordings of your stream.
☛ Share the direct link to your stream (you will find the share icon in the lower right before starting a stream).
☛ Keep up to date with your community, follow your fans back and share their posts and stories.
☛ Network with other streamers and communities to start joint shows.
Important: Don't forget that everything you post on social media is also visible to others. Behave professionally, respectfully and show a sense of responsibility. After all, you never know if this or any other company might take notice of you.
Trolls & Hater:
Trolls are everywhere. We help you to decide for yourself who can and who cannot be in your streams.
For example, by appointing moderators. They have the power to kick people out of your stream and make sure that you can fully concentrate on streaming. But you should choose carefully who you give this "power" to and train your mods clearly which comments or behaviour is ok and which is not ok in your stream.
Top badges (and also all other badges, for example for promos or supporters) are awarded on LOVOO exclusively by talent managers. They are responsible for a certain group of streamers and know exactly what is important and how to develop potentials.
Before you get to the top, there are a few other "career steps":
Promoted_new badge:
With this badge, streamers are displayed at the top of the "New" section of the app. This helps them to be more visible and grow faster. This badge is only given to small and new streamers and is a great chance for them to collect favos and diamonds and then move on to the next category.
Tip: Take our "Streamer Skills Tips" to heart and catapult yourself to the top.
Promo Badge:
The Promo Badge is not visible, but still helps you to get enormous visibility in the trends - just below the top streamers. All promos have a direct contact person, a talent manager, who supervises them, coaches them and sets goals for them.
Top badge:
Whoever made it this far definitely knows how streaming on LOVOO works. You have proven that you have a great community, that you are always coming up with new things for your streams and that you can achieve your goals. From now on you will play in the top league and will be looked after by the appropriate talent managers.
The way to the top is certainly not easy, but you grow with the challenges, get to know a lot of people, go through ups and downs and then you are well prepared to start your own career and be your own boss.
